Monique had contacted me and asked if we could use a veld/farm secne to do her maternity shoot, so we decided on the beautiful and rustic Marrick Safari
just outside of Kimberley. We were worried we would have to postpone their shoot due to rain (which happens now every second day in the desert of Kimberley), but by the time 4pm came, the rain had stopped and left us with a beautiful dark and moody overcast sky.
I couldn’t believe when Monique told me that she is due in early January! She is looking lovely and has such a small baby bump – baby Monja must be very petite:)
It turned out to be a lovely and relaxed shoot with cool, overcast weather.
A big thank you to the owners of Marrick Safari
for letting us use your lovely farm:)
And to Monique and Gene, all the best for the arrival of baby Monja ♥
